Jewel's first priority when meeting new clients is to get to know you and how to help you in your specific position.  By truly listening and focusing on your goals, she can more accurately address your wants and needs.  Then she gives you the information you need to move through the process of buying or selling a home with the least possible stress or uncertainty.

Jewel’s belief is that knowledge of today’s market leads to good decisions. When clients are informed and know what to expect at each step along the way, the entire transaction becomes more enjoyable for everyone.  Throughout the course of the deal, Jewel is attentive to every detail, communicating clearly and with timely information for her clients and colleagues.

As a Certified Negotiation Expert, she will plan a negotiation strategy so you will achieve the best possible outcome in your unique situation.  Empathy for her clients and the emotion that goes into buying or selling a home is one reason so many of her clients return to her again and again.  Having been through the process many times, and working in both buyers' and sellers' markets, she can be a cool head when emotions run high.

Jewel has sold everything from studio apartments to million dollar homes and says that one reason she loves her career is the variety.  She never knows what the day will bring or what interesting people she'll meet.   Jewel is an original Vancouver native, and when it came time to make her first real estate purchase, she settled into Maple Ridge with her family.  She's raised her two children here and has first-hand knowledge of the schools, recreation and community appeal.  She also has a diploma in legal studies and with her previous legal experience and education, you can be assured you are working with a competent and qualified professional.

One of her most commendable qualities is her concern for those less fortunate.  Jewel has been featured often in the Maple Ridge News for her involvement with the Realtors Care Blanket Drive which she led for six years.  She currently serves as a Director of the REBGV Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Division.

Jewel enjoys life's simple pleasures: spending time with family and friends, volunteering, and a lifelong approach to learning. Currently studying Spanish, she hopes to spend an extended vacation in a Spanish speaking country.  So, if you wonder if you should choose a home in the Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows area, just ask Jewel.  She'll be glad to share the many reasons why this is the perfect place to live!
